Students pitched their business ideas against Winstanley Dragons, Phil Morgan and Kev Ayre yesterday. The hopeful Young Enterprise participants have been working in teams over the last few weeks to come with a product which they believe can generate a profit.
In total, 6 different teams pitched their products, with ideas ranging from children’s games to personalised gifts.
The dragons gave honest feedback, including areas of the business plans which they felt needed more work. Teams now have 2 weeks to polish and perfect their pitches and products, before coming back and presenting the finished business plans. The dragons will then select the businesses they think are good enough to compete in the first round of the regional Young Enterprise competitions.
Good luck to all involved!
