Congratulations to student, Jessica Booth, who has been crowned winner of Winstanley’s Great Geographical Bake-off .
The brief, set by geography teacher, Robynne Wood, was simply to bake a cake with a geographical theme. Entries included Niagra Falls, Stone Henge and the Eiffel Tower, all baked and decorated to a very high standard.
Jessica’s winning design, was an ingenious ‘Big Ben-offee’ cake, which really impressed the judges.
The cakes were sold off at break time to raise money for Madagascan Wells.
Thank you to Robynne for organising the competition and to all the bakers for their efforts.
