- At least one extended collection of work/project which is based on an idea, concept, theme or issue which demonstrates understanding from an initial starting point to realisation and includes evidence of research, development and links to the work of others.
- Critical/contextual work could include material from first hand visits to galleries, museums and libraries and supporting research from journals, reviews and the internet. Information annotated in sketchbooks can be presented in a number of ways such as PowerPoint, CD’s, photographs etc.
- Sketchbooks, workbooks and journals which present a series of related images that show progression of an idea.
- Three dimensional work such as models, maquettes, sculptures etc. when appropriate to the chosen area of study.
- No restriction regarding the scale of work, although students must carefully select, organise and present work to ensure that they provide evidence to meet all four assessment objectives.
