Individual Learning Plan
Students are offered a huge range of activities and challenges here at Winstanley. From Key Skills to work experience, from enrichment to the very important job of achieving their best, all students are continually offered many opportunities for development. It's important, therefore, that all students can plan their own paths to success. The key achievement is learning good self evaluation that recognises personal strengths, identifies barriers to success and sets clear manageable targets that inspire and enable progress.
Starting at the induction, in the individual learning plan all students learn to take responsibility for their own development and at regular points learn to assess and manage their own learning. The ILP is an important part of students' lives, giving them a full overview of their learning and the ability to see more clearly how they can develop.
