Entry Requirements
The demand for places at Winstanley College is extremely high. As a college, we must always ensure that we have a fair process for allocating those places. The College expects that the demand for places in September will exceed capacity and therefore we review our entry policy annually to ensure that we can guarantee every student who meets the entry requirements a place with us at Winstanley.

Applications Deadline
Normally only applications received in College by Monday 28th February 2022 will be considered
Enrolment
If you don’t attend your enrolment interview (the date and time for this are stated in your offer letter) or let us know you are away on holiday, we will assume you no longer wish to take up our offer of a place.
On Holiday on Enrolment Day
If you will be on holiday on enrolment day please contact admissions@winstanley.ac.uk beforehand to arrange a later enrolment date. You must also arrange for your results to be sent to the college by 5 pm on enrolment day by email to confirm you have met the College entry policy and guarantee your place.

Appeals
Requests for special consideration should normally be accompanied by support from the applicant’s school and be made in writing to the Deputy Principal, Debbie Owen via:
admissionsappeals@winstanley.ac.uk Appeals for special consideration will be heard by the Appeals Panel if received before GCSE results are published. Only in exceptional circumstances is the College able to hear appeals made after GCSE results have been published. Please note that normally, the College will give preference for its limited places to Year 11 school leavers.
