Introducing V-levels

As part of its commitment to providing innovative, future-focused learning opportunities, Winstanley College is excited to introduce V-levels from September 2027.

V-levels are new qualifications designed to combine academic study with industry-relevant knowledge and skills. They are intended to help students prepare for university, apprenticeships and employment by developing specialist expertise in areas where there is growing demand for highly skilled professionals.

The proposed V-level in Finance and Accounting is aimed at students who are interested in business, finance and the management of financial information.

Students develop an understanding of financial principles, accounting practices and the role finance plays within organisations. The qualification provides a strong foundation for progression to university, apprenticeships and careers in accounting, banking, financial services and business management.

Flexible Study Programmes

V-levels are intended to complement other qualifications, enabling students to build a programme that reflects their interests, strengths and future aspirations.
