Winstanley student awarded a NODA

Congratulations to Lower Sixth student, Kit Lawton, who has been awarded a NODA award for ‘Best Portrayal of a male character in a Youth Drama’.
NODA stands for National Operatic and Dramatic Awards and is an extremely prestigious accolade for amateur actors.
Kit’s award comes after a star performance as ‘The Architect’ in Wigan Little Theatre’s production of ‘Grimms Tales’ last summer.
Kit has temporarily halted treading the boards to focus on A-level study but hopes to resume acting as a hobby at university next year.
Congratulations Kit! Despite not studying performing arts, we hope to see you in a College production soon.
