Our year 12 students headed to Belfast on 20th June where they met expert academics from History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics for an engaging subject session where students explored what it’s like to study these dynamic disciplines at Queen’s. As well as meeting Dr. Kathleen Kaess who led an inspiring session on the Liberal Arts programme, highlighting the flexibility and interdisciplinary approach that sets it apart. Students also engaged in a law lecture discovering unique opportunities, from expert-led seminars to real-world legal experience.

Student ambassadors gave a tour of the campus and outstanding student accomodation, including the centre peice of the estate, The Lanyon Building. A stand out feature of the student union building was the dedication to sustainability and assistance with the rising cost of living, it is clear Queens are keen to support student health and wellbeing.

Students had two days to explore, engage and enjoy Queens and the city it resides in and had a wonderful, enlightening experience provided by the student recruitment team.
