Winstanley College welcomed more than 700 families to its busiest-ever Open Day on Saturday, 3 October, as prospective students and their families explored the College's outstanding facilities, met subject specialists and discovered the wide range of opportunities available for September entry.

The vibrant atmosphere across the College reflected the enthusiasm and ambition of the Year 11 students in attendance, with staff commenting on the high levels of engagement and interest shown throughout the morning.

Every subject area was showcased, giving visitors an insight into life at Winstanley College. From the sciences and humanities to Dance, sport and the creative arts, prospective students had the opportunity to meet teachers, speak with current students and take part in a range of interactive activities and demonstrations.

Visitors also learned more about the College's new V-levels in Digital Systems and Data and Finance and Accounting, which provide industry-focused pathways.

Simon Lett, Principal, said:

"We would like to thank everyone who attended our Open Day and helped make it our busiest-ever event. It was fantastic to welcome more than 700 families to the College and to see so many enthusiastic young people exploring their options for the future. The energy and positivity throughout the morning were incredible, and I was delighted to see visitors engaging with staff and students across every subject area. We look forward to welcoming many of them back to Winstanley College next year."
