Additional Support Needs

Winstanley College is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment in which all students can access learning, participate fully in college life and achieve their potential. We work collaboratively with students, families, schools and external agencies to identify and remove barriers to learning, ensuring that appropriate support and reasonable adjustments are available where required. A key aim of our support is to help students develop confidence, independence and the skills needed to become successful independent learners.

To help students and families understand the support available, we have produced the following guide outlining our approach to additional learning needs, SEND support, examination access arrangements, transition and progression.
