Winstanley College Students Shine at Imperial Science in Medicine Prize

Winstanley College students have proudly participated in the Imperial Science in Medicine School Teams Prize 2025, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and passion for scientific innovation. This prestigious competition, now in its fifth year, is supported by the National Heart and Lung Institute and the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence and aims to inspire the scientists of tomorrow.
The students designed innovative ePosters addressing real-world health challenges, from cardiovascular disease prevention and respiratory health to climate-related health impacts and cancer care. Their work demonstrated a deep understanding of multidisciplinary approaches, affordability and accessibility in healthcare, and the importance of clear scientific communication.
All participating Winstanley College students have been awarded Certificates of Participation in recognition of their dedication and outstanding contributions. Their efforts reflect the competition’s mission to encourage forward-thinking solutions and inspire future leaders in science and medicine.
