College closure

Many thanks for your patience in what was a difficult and fast-evolving situation yesterday.  When we opened the site yesterday morning, we discovered we had no water and this was an issue also impacting residents on Winstanley Road. 

We spoke directly to the engineers on the scene and relevant people on the phone.  We were given a firm assurance that the problem had been fixed, although it would take some minutes for water to reach all parts of the site.  

Despite these assurances, it became clear midway through period 1 that it would not be sensible to wait any longer, despite assurances that the problem had been dealt with.  

Therefore, we'd like all students to move to remote/online learning today (27.03.26).
