Aaron Taylor

Civil Litigation Fee Earner

Back

This week we caught up with Aaron Taylor, former Winstanley College student who now works as a Civil Litigation Fee Earner for White Collar Legal and Admin Ltd. During his time at Winstanley Aaron studied Law, Business, Psychology and Computer Science, before going on to study Law at Liverpool John Moores University.

Whilst at university, Aaron had several part-time jobs that he worked alongside his studies. Furthermore, he did plenty of voluntary work, including: working at several university events, volunteering for the Digital Forensics Evidence Department and volunteering at Support Through Court, an organisation providing help and support to those navigating the family court process. On top of this, Aaron was also a member of the Aspiring Solicitor’s Organisation and he was a Student Representative on behalf of all Level 6 students.

Upon completing his Law degree, Aaron went on to gain a Distinction grade in his combined Masters of Law and Legal Practice Course (LPC). At present, Aaron works as a Civil Litigation Fee Earner for White Collar Legal and Admin Ltd, and is on his way to becoming a qualified solicitor. Once qualified, Aaron hopes to continue working within the Civil Litigation sector.

When asked what advice he would give to students thinking about applying to Winstanley, Aaron said:

One of the best decisions I’ve made was to study at Winstanley College. When you’re there you should work hard and make a clear plan for the future but also enjoy yourself as those 2 years fly by. I’d like to personally thank Jacqui for introducing me to the world of law - without her I definitely wouldn’t be on this path.
