Lucy Lynch

Careers Adviser Wigan Council

Back

We were delighted to welcome back former student, Lucy Lynch, this week who studied at Winstanley between 2006 and 2008, taking A-levels in Psychology, Sociology and Media before going onto a Psychology degree at Sheffield University.

Lucy now works as a careers adviser for Wigan Council and visited as part of her role in supporting students in their transition to college.

Whilst here, Lucy was delighted to have a tour of campus to see how things have changed since she left.

Lucy, who attended Fred Longworth High School before Winstanley, commented: ‘I have very happy memories of my time at Winstanley. I used to travel quite a distance to get to college but it was worth it. It is the first time I have been back and it’s lovely to see all the amazing facilities, particularly in media, that students have access to today.’
